Tim Re..What I said is not a "lie put out by liberals". I didn't say anything about Reagan being to blame I<<<<<< I was responding to what you were responding to,. Combjelly blames Reagon for the mental patients being released. You said that the number of homeless increased at that time. But no one put the blame for all of the mental patients being released. It was from a law suit bought by the ACLU which said it was unconstitutional to lock some one up against his wishes, even if he is a mental patient, and doesn't have the ability to make a rational decision. Reagon did tighten the qualifications for welfare. He didn't throw all of the mental patients into the streets. The liberals did that to themselves; as the ACLU is as liberal as it gets.
