combjelly,

It seems to me that Intel has a big problem when AMD releases a 1+ Ghz Duron. The Celeron and PIII do not scale that high in 0.18u. So, what does Intel have to put into their deCeleron line? Tualatin? Some castrated version on P4, but with high production cost due to its large die size? I think a quick introduction of a 1 Ghz Morgan based Duron would put Intel in big trouble. If I were Intel, I would reserve i845+SDRAM coupled with <1.3 and 1.4 Ghz P4 for a next generation Celeron launch. This could put AMD in a world of hurt, but not do much for Intel's margins.

Pravin.
