I have watched each summer begin in the way this summer has. Upbeat investors tend to trade before and after Christmas and before and after 1st quarter earnings.

After that, summer soon arrives and traders exit the market with risk capital and go on vacation which is close to where we are now, market timing wise IMO.

We are entering the summer doldrums which normally will last until Fall. This equals a sideways market ride for a few months.

As always JMHO.
