I would make the decision as to whether Intel was too agressive with pricing based on changes in their financial position vs. AMD.

If the price cuts did not weaken AMD in an absolute sense, and DID weaken Intel in an absolute sense, then they were over-aggressive.

In other words, lets look at the changes in cash levels at Intel vs. AMD for the second quarter, adjusted for debt. Half of that equation is 2 days away.
