By "demand coming back" do you mean the hyper growth associated with the telco buildout of 1996 - 2000? Or just slow, steady growth?

If the latter, these stocks might not offer much in the way of returns.

When will INTC announce their 2002 capex?

Probably some indication in late December but no later than Q4 earnings release in mid-January.

What is wrong with this? First telcom ORDERS recover, then semi ORDERS, and, finally, semi-equip ORDERS.
