The Dems may also not be in a big hurry as this is a lovely overwhelming issue to ride into the 2002 congressional elections Dems may not be in a hurry, but I'll bet that the energy prices will be lower well before the 2002 elections. It may still be high on your mind, but the electorate's memory doesn't go much past 6 months. Bush Sr. was unbeatable after "Desert Storm"; no doubt in my mind. Problem was that the election was one year later. jttmab
