Right, ML say that different cables sound different not better, just like there are different speakers for different people's taste, except the different frequency response of speakers can be measured. I have also listened to McIntosh amps from when I was in diapers(though not with the ML's) and here's a lil link for you to peruse

Feel free to show me the double blind listening test and independent lab tests out of all those links you gave me. All that showed me was you have lots of competition in a limited field, just not that many suckers with big wallets, and big ego's to go around.

Oh, and finally, most people would be way money ahead tweaking room acoustics with bass traps, more or less reflective wall surfacing etc. than spending $6950 from some electrical snake oil salesman for some metal.

You know, it's all clear to me now, you've inhaled too much solder, that's your whole problem.
