BTW, not sure if you've seen this info yet: COT commercials increase net short position to -78867 contracts from -72066 previous week in SnP 500...Biggest short position in 12 weeks The large Speculators flip to 634 long from -2179 short one week ago. The large specs were 6992 net long at the May 22 top (these guys are notoriously on the wrong side of the trade) Small specs are net long 78233...their highest net long position in 12 weeks. This is bearish. On 3/6/01 they were a record net long 91122 contracts the SnP 500...right before the SPX lost about 250 points to the 2001 lows<gg> Best, John
