Wall Street Week and the News Hour are the two shining exceptions...

Haven't seen the Red Green Show. [I can pick up NPR over the Web, but not PBS.] But that and I would assume other shows of entertainment, e.g., Sherlock Holmes, are of off-topic to the point of political bias.

I'm having trouble then understanding where you see the significant political bias, presumably left. You mentioned some subtleties of human interest stories. But if you've read this thread long enough you've probably observed that subtle doesn't have much of an impact.

Re: American Comedy; flipping cable channels last night, I stumbled across a comedy show called "Sex in the City"???. It seemed to be of American origin [accents of the [I use the term loosely] actresses]. IMO: Total trash.
