OT. Dear Martin re: military "deployable wireless LAN's". This is quite amazing, and I am glad the US military is so technologically progressive. It is my recollection that QCOM obtained CDMA technology or its predecessor from the US military in the first place. However, it is unclear how a deployable and self-contained wireless system would need backhaul from GX or anyone else. And that is good inasmuch as GX is militarily vulnerable to anybody with a large pair of scissors. Also, FWIW, I already have enlisted and can testify from first hand knowledge that not a single piece of sophisticated electronics ever worked in the field (30 yrs ago). Hope and presume that things have changed.
