I think for this round you're probably right. But come august....weak volume, news void, sh!t earnings from July, poor outlook for 3rd qtr......add it up and it spells an ugly leg down to me. I fully expect 1650 - 1750 on the nas and 9200 - 9400 on the dow. From there I think it's possible we go as low as 1350 and 7600 by the end of September. As I posted yesterday....I am long term bullish on this market but over the next 2-3 months I expect to see some really ugly action. My GUESS is that only another fed strike averts the oct 98 lows and that come November things start to look better going into 2002. I expect the fed to lower by another .75 this year and that coupled with lower fuel prices (assuming they hold) will help lift the earnings outlook 2002.
