He discovers love , hate ,fear, envy , jealousy ... concepts of justice and right and wrong....and always trying to solve the greatest riddle of death, and the onslaught aging and decay.why am i mortal he asks , that i feel so much like the heavens, inside...my/our minds a vast luminous place. but knowing in my heart everything must eventually die , some reach out for 'God' He sees the sky for the first time , and realizes it is not just an inverted bowl which tiny lights peer forth. He begins to understand more , the meaningful and inexorable change of the seasons , and senses the rotations of the spheres, and see's the heavens as a much larger vaster space ....the world becomes more than it once was....and all the creatures great and small that dwell in it . It is luminous and vast , both without and within as this man peers out into the world and the vastness that is also within himself...philosophers sensed this far back in ancient Greece , Persia , India, and China...not just by your shores of galilea. Gone are the old small definitions , the little skirmishing spirits and gods...and they are replaced by the truer light that shines from with the sacred body temple where resides within a more enlightened reasoning , and greater compassionate heart, and a love for all that he see's fresh and anew . So it is man's fate to grow and discover in time a wider , truer view of life and existence ...beyond merely existing , and an overwhelming feeling of intimacy with creation , that offers 'visions' of beauty, and something eternal in all the birth and death. something that is good , and lasting and beautiful... The Secular , the Religious , science , philosophy and art ...are all sacred . He learns to live and let live perhaps finally together. You think that Jesus only found this ? And was the only one ? Fine gregg ...that's just OK. It is your sacred pile of stones and clay piled up and it has meaning for you... but it does not have meaning for everyone , nor should you try to force it on others . the truth is , this expansion of man's conciousness and knowledge was discovered in many places , other than just your rabbai , the Essenne called jesus...it went on before, and is still going on after Mohammed (PBUH) on into the future. I could make it crisper , clearer and more intelligent for you to understand , but don't feel i really have to . good day McCritchie....continued good luck building your sacred rockpile of belief...and narrow history. ;-) Mars
