Just as people ignored valuations, P/Es, profits, or more pointedly, the lack of profits a year and a half ago when the market was climbing out of sight, they're probably just doing the same in reverse now.

Maybe there are still some value long term investors out there but I think the majority are still looking for those huge swings so they can recoop all their losses.

EMC will be one of the first beneficiaries of any recovery as everyone has been holding off on those storage contracts. It's all got to go somewhere. Storage is mandatory. EMC could have 200% growth next year. There is no correct PE you can assign to the stock now. It will fluctuate wildly.
