Mary, unless most of "ALLABOUTPROFITS"' posts have been deleted, it appears he only posted for less than a month-- at the tail end of 1999. Assuming he was sued in early 2000, we're looking at perhaps a year and a half of associated legal fees. And considering people don't usually settle during a trial, it's likely the guy saw yet another black-hole for his money if he stayed the course.

I see no mention of the lawsuit in any DESI filings, so either it was too "insignificant" to mention or it was filed by Mr. Holtzman personally. Not that it probably means anything important, but it's interesting to note that "allboutprofits" (lower case and no "a" in "about") is the one who issued the apology.
