LOL!! Yep. We need our Executive to start squirting semen all over the Oval Office again, misleading federal courts, lying to grand juries, abusing underage interns, selling out national security for campaign $$$, bombing innocent aspirin factories, etc.... Those were the good old days!!

WASHINGTON (July 11, 2001 10:48 p.m. EDT) - Supporters of campaign finance legislation have accused House Republicans of trying to scuttle their bill by denying them a fair vote, raising doubts about the prospects for passage of the measure aimed at curtailing the role of big money in politics.

"I am more than willing to live with the consequences of defeat with a process that is fair," said Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., the main sponsor of the legislation with Rep. Marty Meehan, D-Mass. "But these are games being played because the stakes are high and the vote is close."....
