Re.: NAT vs. VLCCF

contract: Vlccf has longer contract with BP (IMHO)
no. boats: NAT has 3 VLCCF has 5 (last I checked)

*insider sales: Thought I read NAT may sell some
new share release: May be I read NAT may release some more or other similar action

depreciation: Hold these too long and depreciation will ursup your income, yet offers the chance long term for new boats at new contracts with holding till sale of old boats to get price reaction too

repairs: May be VLCCF repairs one boat and its back out on the seas with 4/5 downtime compared to NAT with possible 1/3 downtime

dividend/royalty: Both nice and both trade lower after dividends and shoot up higher at dividends, do you sell before the div or after the div or just hold and rake it in. Buy after this div and set close stop? Buy now and set close stop?

taxes: Claiming foreign income with depreciation amounts to include on line...? No hill for a stepper.

Conclusion: LIKE VLCCF
