The current theory is called the Big Bang Steve. What evidence is it not consistent with?

Then there is the Cambrian explosion, where all the fossils appear suddenly, and without any prior, or subsequent transitional forms. From blue green algae to fully functioning organisms with, not poor fossils, but no fossils. What kind of evidence is that?
