Good one!<g> ---What will be interesting is how the techs come of this slowdown. It is possible that we may start seeing quick boom and bust cycles. The rapid rise and drop in technology business all points to quick growth and contraction cycles in the near future.(imho, a reason why the next earnings turnaround has to be sold within the first one or two quarters of growth...of course buying should happen ahead of the upturn).

I agree that when the earnings turn, it will be very sudden and the great magnitude of the turn will puzzle analysts and economists....just like the drop off in biz did this year.

This cost cutting that is going on is to improve business efficiency for the uptick...which should be here by the last quarter.
