I hear that the press is no longer calling Condit a
"conservative Democrat". The new label is "Right-wing Democrat"
No matter how it falls Condit is history!
The local Dems may even ask him not to run next time.
I suspect that Grey Davis will win re-election.
The Republican Party in California destroyed itself
with Prop 187. It will take a generation to recover.
I don't think CA can survive a generation of Democratic rule.
