Bush has quietly maneuvered the liberal Democrats into the spotlight they fear most. When they fight faith-based initiatives openly on the Senate floor this Summer, they will, once again, be marked as the party of sodomy and the murder of the unborn. Add that to Clinton's corruption, the attempted election theft, and soon some very possible indictments for bribery, kidnapping and murder, and you have the picture of a Democratic party that has sacrificed even the appearance of idealism for a raw grab for power.

The image problem they are creating for themselves doesn't show completely up in one or two election cycles. It ferments. The stink grows. Until no politician who wants to appear respectable can associate with the rotted carcass of this party with no soul left. The media can continue to cover for them-with diminishing success-for a couple or three more years. But the increasing stink will soon seep through the media curtain and either take them down too, or cause them to finally reform.

2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010...All conservatives, while remaining diligent, should be looking forward to these elections...
