Natural gas prices in California are exactly where they were at the peak unless they've come down in the last two weeks since I got my past bill. gas prices are close to the top. Power prices are also still very high. Get your facts straight, GOP-defender. Why do you think Bush is trying to rush his energy plan through all of a sudden? He's knows there's trouble brewing for him. The story about those Duke engineers shutting off power in the middle of the black-outs got back to the White House. Whether than particular incident is damning or not others will be. They're in a panic and it's going to get worse unless they can fool us all quick and cover-up the evidence. Because they recklessly gouged thinking they were safe from investigation until Jeffords switched. If the Senate investigates they're screwed. Big-time. At the very least they could lose popularity and the congress. And Gray Davis is becoming more popular now every day. Their tactic only worked for six months. And they don't want to give back the money.
