This miserable market can't seem to hold any gain at all. This is getting tiresome. Time to take a vacation I reckon.

RE: "Who else will benefit?"

WWCI will increase the efficiency of resource allocation and the access to markets, worldwide. In this environment, intellectual capital and entrepreneurial talent are what we want to invest in. I am very comfortable concentrating on my home town, Silicon Valley. We have a track record, Stanford, a true technology melting pot, acceptance of all kinds of people from all areas of the world, and great weather.

Pete, Thanks for that excellent post. I think your real estate scenario makes sense, I have thought about that for a while now. If we keep thinking here on this thread about the effects of this new WWCI, it may hit us as to where the some of the great investment opportunities will be. GBLX is an interesting stock at this point. That one is related to the fiber optics area, which I have been trying to understand better. It seems that in fiber optics, there will either be such a massive amount of bandwidth available such that nobody will make much money in it, or it will be very profitable due to incredible increases in bandwidth demand by people and businesses all over the world. Part of the answer lies in the technology itself, which is rather difficult to understand.
