Guess who is coming to dinner with Musharraf - A dead man. Deader than the dead man is the Pukka Indian Burro-crat who drew up the list of dopes and dupes, scums and bums, beauts and butt-heads, the lazies and the woozies. On the other hand, this is not a Burro-cratic bungle, but a studied list of possibly like-minded people who share the same vision with Mushhead RiffRaff Musharaff. -JPR

Dead man invited to Musharraf banquet

NEW DELHI, July 12: A prominent Indian historian who died a few months ago was invited to
a weekend banquet marking the Pakistan-India summit.

The Internet channel Rediff.com said on Thursday that the gaffe of inviting Professor
Ravindra Kumar was discovered by the banquet's host, Indian President K.R. Narayanan,
after a list of guests was sent to him by foreign ministry officials.

It said Narayanan scrapped the list of nearly 100 people as it included names of fading
politicians while leaving out experts on Pakistan and officials from occupied Kashmir.

"Narayanan was so upset with the list he rejected most names and instead drew up his
own," Rediff said quoting an unidentified official.
