I have a couple of shorts from then still. I have held them as positions while playing a couple of brief scalps on the long side, EXDS a couple of weeks ago and PLT. The shorts, JNPR QQQ CIEN have done quite well.Still not closing them out quite yet. A new thing for me, just holding a couple of shorts for a period of time.

Okay, I took the plunge, I just covered my 2 remaining shorts. And went long 2 techs. 1910 is my target for the week so 1940 is close enough to start some longs.

hey Moufassa, I noticed that you have been interested in Rande's 4DML concept, as have I.. Yesterday looked like the textbook setup for a 4DML to me... we had the gap up open..and then a close at the LOD.. if today continues down, it could spell trouble for longs and could mean we end the week on a major washout... if this scenario unfolds, there is a statistical probability that Monday will continue in the direction of friday. (according to Donald Sew on stock attack who has studied the monday friday correlation) .. If that's the case we could be in for a crash day Monday which would make this actually a 5DML......just a thought and god knows it's not something I'm hoping for.. I'm actually net long right now, but very worried.. Especially worried that defensive issues like banks retailers and oils are getting hammered too.. portends a break of previous lows in my mind.. rok
