cell phones in cars are still ok..just not handheld ones.. you can still use one with a hands free setup.. I doubt cell phone use will be impacted by these laws..it will just create a market for hands free add ons..

I wouldn't know. S'all speculation. All I know is what I read in the newspapers.

The chart looks iffy. If it bounces off the middle Bollinger band, it'll be OK. Otherwise, it could head back to 50. If you did feel inclined to gamble with it, you might think about setting your stop near today's low (in the area of the middle Bollinger band).

That's just my silly opinion. (Which credit card would you like to use today? All opinions cost 5 cents [based on Nature's Law (e-waves)].)

One company is developing a car phone that drivers can control with their feet, so state troopers can't see them operating it. The company is also developing bags to put over drivers' heads, so troopers can't see people talking to the foot-activated phones. (What a great free country this is!) I've forgotten the company's trading symbol. (I tried one of the phones at a new technology fair recently. I wound up spraining my toe, and I inadvertently drove a Lexus SUV into a crowd of prospective investors. So I held off on investing for now, until I put all the lawsuits behind me.)

HG,

I would agree with Rok's assessment that hands free are still OK in cars. Plus, while many business people use them in a car, I think the overall useage is still high outside of the car.

Personally, I am about to disconnect my land line in favor of a two phone wireless system. I don't need the land line anymore (I use a cable modem) and cell phone plans aren't too much more than what land line charges are any more (plus all the free long distance). This is where I favor cable companies long term (AOL, CHTR) rather than Tel-Co's or long distance companies.

In Europe, land lines are pretty rare, most everyone uses wireless.

regards,
