Torricelli May Step Down Next Week

AheadNews.com learned that attorneys for Sen. Robert Torricelli have been authorized to put a deal on the table that would have the Senator from New Jersey stepping down from the United States Senate in exchange for no hard jail time. This blockbuster story will change the balance of power once again in Washington and is the reason for the delay on the announcement of the indictment for the sitting Senator. Prosecutors are still dicussing what to do about this incredible, stunning last minute turn of events and a decision could come as soon as Tuesday.

I'm sure the boys there ... especially Lazerus Long, the poster formerly known as James McGowan ... will be pleased.

Duh, that's because we haven't had a tax cut yet. The (miniscule) tax cut doesn't kick in for years - or ever if the democrats have their way. Course that won't prevent Big Media from screaming "SEE TAX CUTS DON"T WORK" if we go into recession.

The tax cut is great. Surplus will still be about $200 billion this year,
