121.45 is 50% of the modern range (post 1971) in the USDX. we made 121.02 on 5 july. i don't have 4 july data on currencies but it's possible it would have hit the true 50% level. it should cool off some, but my idea is that the US$ is the "hard" currency this time around the inflation tree, so i don't see a collapse as so many end-of worlders are predicting. (i don't know yer financial "religion", so i want to assure you this is not meant disparagingly.)
