why does "righties" show up as a spelling error but "lefties" does not?

I'd guess it's to do with how much each term is used here... LOL.

As for dreams, I've read that most normal people (in terms of, er, normal mental function) dream with similar frequency. But as you age, are less likely to recall dreams unless you wake during/immediately after them - unless they're unusually vivid and 'exciting' (in whatever sense). I suppose that in this case you're more likely to remember them, but also more likely to be wakened by the dream anyway.

BTW, if you pass out and remember nothing, either you're using the wrong substances or you're taking too much of them... be easy, man :)
