Needless to say, the economic conditions are different now, so one wonders what would prompt such a decline. We don't have rising interest rates, a weakening dollar and inflation. Who knows what bad news would prompt a crash now? Guess who was just getting his start then? Yup. Greenspan was the newly appointed chairman of the Fed. He announced that he was bullish.

The MSFT story today might be seen as good news for techs. (I had to throw that in for Dennis, who's missed around here.)
