stan - ROFL. With Naz prices falling, one could expect valuations to get closer to acceptable levels. But earnings are falling at the same pace. And the ratios stay.
Will take some years to get out of the mess. The FA way. <vbg>

Stan,I agree with you on the wisdom of using TA over FA when it comes to figuring out the value of the stock based on PE.

I've erroniously be labelled this big FA advocate when I simply embraced news as a factor in trading.

I do use FA to the extent that I like stocks that are leaders of a sector with increased earnings and strong relative strength. After these factors are met, it's off to chart land to see where the stock has been and guess where it might be going.

Then it's time to add a touch of intuiton, like I felt about Yahoo today.

By the way, congrats on your great short call on ebay the other day.
