What are you blind? They gave a number .01 including the investment write-down. They are obviously making some money off their products. Sorry for the insinuation, but hell's bells.knc

Well, even I must admit that, if you add that charge back in, they seem to have managed to hold revenues and earnings from operations up pretty well (speculating somewhat based on what little we know at this point). Life as a monopolist has been good to them. I suspect that to some extent their success has come at the expense of CPQ and its price war with DELL (which may change soon as CPQ restructures), but it was good while it lasted.

Have you been in a time warp or something. The investment losses come as no surprise to the market. Booking them was inevitable.

Actually, you should be thanking MSFT for preannouncing better than estimated revenues. Afterall, AAPL has bounced after hours along with the whole tech sector.

Oh, I forgot, your hedge fund will take a beating tomorrow. So sorry.
