On;y during the winter months does the weather in BC directly correlate with Alberta and east {Strong Westerly's}. But durig the summer months we have an Omega wind flow, and Alberta's weather comes mainly from South of Oregeon; as well as Cold fronts from the east of the Rockies flowing south east. In simple words, it rained over nearly all of Alberta and Sask last week. As well as last night.
