It looks like small retails shorts covering in AH on WCOM, close at 14.18 last print at www.nasdaq.com at 14.53. Looks like relief rally I mentioned last night will kick in Tomorrow. MSFT and YHOO news should rock the Naz.

Actually, I spoke with my next door neighbor tonight who's software salesman who is part of a consulting company in my state (they service all big 3-auto accounts and other large customers).

He says business has picked up in the past month, although hardware is not moving. Software is selling, but he's got a pretty narrow niche (CAD type software, engineering software, etc).

It makes sense since our state has been in a manufacturing recession since December.

We also talked about how big companies piss away money on tech purchases, since he tends to be one of the beneficiaries.

Futures up 70 still. I just don't know if this will stop at 2057, 2088, or 2100. My guess is either 2088 or 2100 sometime early (Tuesday?)next week.

The real question is how much of this gap is going to get filled? I think maybe we go down to 2000 after this initial rally, then bounce back up before falling just before options expiration.
