All I have to say to that is it's a darwinistic world. You prove yourself or you're gone. So Cisco now has to make cuts it didn't want to make. Pixstream is just one of those casualties. It's really unfortunate, because Cisco's always been good at developing not just technologies, but entire industries of growth. Clearly, video over the net will be a major bandwidth consumer. So it is critical that this market takes off to provide the engine of growth for Cisco. Anyway, Pixstream should have gone back to their employees and shareholders and tried to put a buyout offer on the table to Cisco. They could have done it for pennies on the dollar and maybe even stayed in business long enough to weather the storm. Just random thoughts.
