And it's very hard to fool a camera, or a computer. I agree, witnesses differ - on something they've
seen once, probably unexpectedly, without reason to memorise: but a camera recording doesn't.


Technology aside (current technology really can fool people, just see Jurassic Park), what you see in the camera is very much a matter of interpretation. Look at the Rodney King trial, where they showed the same video over and over and over. Did the police beat King unreasonably or not? Was he flinching or trying to attack? Different people saw VERY different things in that famous recording.
