Estimated income tax liability of $181,000 was the governor's largest financial obligation.

Bush's income for 2000 was just over $200,000, including his $117,000 salary as governor.

$181,000 is a pretty steep income tax for a $200,000 income. One hell of a disincentive to working for a living and hoping to make it to well off.
