They call that AWOL in the military and it gets you a sort martial and a dishonorable discharge. We won't even start on how he passed hundreds of better qualified applicants with Daddy's connection to get in to the Guard in the first place. The Thief had another lapse when, as a Director of the Board, he sold his stock in Harkin Oil a month before their near financial collapse was disclosed. This was followed by the failure to file the required SEC sale disclosure for 9 months. After being caught in this ethical and legal lapse, the Thief got another pass with Daddy's connections. And he kept the illegal profits from the insider sale.

There are a huge number of people out there who don't have more gumption than to willingly hand over their hard-earned money to a government that will only hand the money over to bums via the welfare state. I'm not one of them. Welfare state? What a joke...a little bit of knowledge is dangerous with you. We are no where close to a welfare state particularly in relation to other nations in the developed world. In fact, we are closer to the third world in this area. But after meeting you, I will do everything in my power to insure we ape the Scandinavian countries in their treatment of welfare.
