Great post. FWIW, the crashes of '87 and '46 were great buying opportunities (the panic of 1946 the greatest buying opportunity of the 20th century, IMHO, nothing but clear sailing for years afterwards), and the pattern also produced the 1932 bottom. But we all know what happened after the crash of '29. Both the '29 and '87 crashes occurred on the 55-day calendar turn, which will be Monday or Tuesday for this market (and the final day of a Puetz crash window too, which also accompanied the '29 and '87 panics). And today is a quarter moon, the last rally day in both 1929 and 1987. PC ratio plunged to .34 this morning. Too much fun. ;-)
