Kinda reminds me of the catalytic converter in a car...

Driving down the road one day in our new car, the cc did "its thing", and made the rotten egg smell..... We, and our guest in the car, nearly choked....rolled down the windows, tried to breathe.....and our guest says:

"GEEZE, HOW MUCH EXTRA DID YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT?????"

Hey Bob,

Can I pick your brain for a second, since I know absolutely nothing about how one does the programming for a place like this.

Do you have any idea how much time or effort it would take for SI to:

1. Fix the Subjectmarks problem previously discussed, in which you see that you have 42 new messages in a particular subject, and as you read through them all several new messages are added (say 10), and you read them, but when you go back and hit the Subjectmarks link it doesn't register that you have read the last ten and it indicates that there are "10 new messages."

and

2. Fix the Inbox problem in which reading a new message by using the "next 10 messages" feature does not reset the counter on one's inbox.

I'm just curious, and you seem like a guy who would probably have a good guess as to the amount of time and resources such fixes might take.

Thanks in advance, and I hope things are going well for you in your semi-retirement.
