Thanks Mike for your kind words. I like to try to see the big picture on things, and it helps me to try to organize my thoughts when I compose a message. I am somebody that deals with numbers in my career (engineer), but for some reason, I find the concepts more fun to discuss than the numbers when it comes to the world of tech stocks. I am guessing that is partly due to some ignorance with the financial numbers and so forth (will try to fill those gaps), and also the realization that even an expert on the financial side could have limited success in this market. There are a lot of factors involved here, and lots of approaches that one can use. If you people don't mind my posts here, then I think this should work out well. I am getting good inputs from you people also.

If the market goes to hell and you come looking for me, I hope it is to congratulate me for the careful wording I have used here on this thread! If I ever say something stupid, please let me know. I realize this is serious business, and would not want to mislead anyone. We should let each other know about any comments that could be misleading to someone reading this thread. Opinions are what this thread is all about, but we should be a bit careful as to how we word them, in my opinion. I think we are doing a good job of that here on the AMAT thread.

Regards,

John
