TETERBORO, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 18, 2001--BEI Medical Systems Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: BMED), which received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval on April 20 to market its proprietary device, the Hydro ThermAblator(R), or HTA(R), a minimally invasive system for treating menorrhagia, or dysfunctional uterine bleeding, announced today the appointment of three new zone managers to manage the company's network of independent sales representatives. The three managers will also support the company's marketing efforts through workshops and seminars at major universities that will introduce the HTA(R) technology to interested physicians.
