From tonite's RMBS earnings release (just in case anyone thought things might get better for MU in the next few quarters):

``Our third fiscal quarter results show the continuing effect of the dramatic decline in the DRAM market,'' said Geoff Tate, CEO of Rambus Inc. ``With the slowdown in the PC and other markets, we expect the DRAM industry to continue to struggle for the next few quarters. The only positive news in the industry seems to be RDRAM where very high volume increases more than offset significant price declines.''

Rambus expects RDRAMs to continue to do significantly better than the general DRAM market. However, with the continued weakness in the PC market and the resulting dramatic price reductions for both RDRAMs and SDRAMs, we anticipate that our total revenues will decline sequentially in the September quarter by about 20%.

cordob, where does all the money go that mu raises?

Skeeter I am not responsible for their money management, but" real man have fabs" (Jerry sanders).
It is like you have this nice model railway but would like to add another expensive track to it...

Anyway I noted that they apparently have absolutely no problem getting the money from the street as it is not open to buying, i.e. institutional buyers have already been lined up.

Cheers
Cor
