The Nasdaq Composite ($COMPQ) charging 76 points higher to 2,048 on overwhelmingly positive breadth. The last time the tech-friendly index saw gains of that magnitude was on June 5, when it surged 78 points. Advancers on the Nasdaq stock market are doubling up decliners 2,250 to 1,135. Volume of the stocks seeing gains is 784.3 million shares, nearly six times the 133 million shares of losing stocks that have changed hands. All of the Nasdaq's five-most heavily weighted stocks are seeing gains of better than 5 percent. Microsoft (MSFT) is rising 6.5 percent to $70.81, Intel (INTC) is adding 5.8 percent to $29.68, Qualcomm (QCOM) is gaining 8.8 percent to $61.42, Cisco Systems (CSCO) is 5.6 percent better at $17.63 and Oracle (ORCL) is advancing 5.5 percent to $18.99.
