I don't know if I'd look for a collapse here Clappy....I have a superstitious rule that when you gave big gap days, that don't fill immediately, and also don't show a lot of wave action during day (a lot of flat-lining)...well, the st trend here is up, and I wouldn't go against it....

I made a bet this morn, and make a couple bucks, but the thing didn't crack (and I think that was a good time, 11:00-12:00), and I wouldn't look for it today..

All IMO, of course, I think we WILL weaken off this mess...just think it comes later (maybe tomorrow, after 1st test of 2080)..

We'll be watchin'

If they bring MSFT back down in the last hour, this rally will fizzle out.

Who is "they"?

Friday Will Be Interesting

Index options expired at the close of trading tonight, and they were way under Max. Pain when the day started. Even with today's "rally" they still closed under Max. Pain. MSFT did its duty for the greater good today (what was their news anyway? <gg>).

Equity options expire at the close tomorrow. MSFT is now above Max. Pain. No reason to show weakness tonight. Plenty of time tomorrow.

The futures were pumped all day long, with the Spoo's trading up in program buy territory most of the day. Can't be too many shorts left who still need to cover right now.
