Not sure how to interpret that 9 billion was added to the monetary system. Anyone care to explain? I know adding money supply is good and draining it is bad but don't have a feel for the numbers on what is a "heavy" adding of money supply and what is "light" since over the long-term the Fed adds money to the system.
