Tench- How about performance and maximum clock speed, two very important factors in the desktop market?

Although I'm not crazy about the P4, I suppose it's an OK product for the performance desktop, particularly for home users who only pay attention to the Mhz number.

But what about the Intc mobile strategy for the next 2 years? Mobile P4's seem ludicruous to me. AMD has a series of mobile improvements on the way (SOI, .13, architectural) and I just don't see much in the way of a response from the Blue Men. You seem like an intelligent fellow, surely you must see this??

It's also pretty valid to note that the P5 had a distinct die size and power consumption advantage over the P6, so the current situation may be considerable as par for the course.
