I, too, have made the decision to prepare for the downside risk, selling 1/2 my position yesterday outright, and selling Oct. $20.00 covered calls on the remainder today. It'll sure be interesting to see whether today's rally is sustainable, and represents the beginning of stock prices rising based on future hopes, rather than current fundamentals, or whether next week at this time people will be wondering "what in hell were we thinking last Thursday?" Just my guess, but it's hard for me to see how the sector won't suck on fundamentals as long as this price war rages.
