While the aristocrats dole out favors to their choice clowns and subjects. I was talking to an old socialist the other day and he was saying something did not fit with his idea of "New Sparta". The left always harkens to a place in the past that never existed. They can't invent anything new so they rebuild on the broken glass of ideas that failed. Marxism, Communism etc... because they feel their "gang" will do it better next time. They can't reach forward to grasp something new so they reinvent their future by copying a failed past. I was worried in putting Solon on ignore he might feel I was repressing his self worth. Nothing could be farther from the truth. In taking a "time out" I'm reaching out to him in a sort of experimental pedagogy. He must get proper reinforcement from his chums for continued social development Solon needs to focus on developing his voluntary attention span as it relates to the formation of concepts and logical memory. We can only guess at his range of skills and outside of a proper clinical setting we know nothing of what adult guidance and peer collaboration might be influencing him. We may fail in our task to bring Solon around and may have to rely on more invasive measures such as surgery and pharmaceutical intervention. If all else fails we can send him here freud.t0.or.at
