Well, that is flapjack's terminology, not the real name. Ooops. Didn't realize that. I still think I'll stay away, I'd rather read the Sierra Times. Sierra writes enough about their opinions and the basis of their opinions. That gives you something that you can assess. My prior experience with right wing threads has been that they are filled with with left and right exchanges of: Your mother wears Army Boots followed by Your mother wears a babuska followed by OH YEAH, Well your mother wears Army boots and a polka dot Babuska, so there. Those are the facts and you can't change the facts..... I think there is a significant percentage of the readers that when they see the phrase...Those are the facts; they conclude, well it must be true. Critical thinking is sadly missing; far too many people grab on to the rhetoric and slogans and never go any further. Which then encourages Congress to use more rhetoric and slogans. Who started it? Doesn't much matter. How do you break the cycle? That's the million dollar question! jttmab
