i'm not bearish on msft "the stock". all i am saying is that momentum investing is over and that msft "the stock" is going have to earn wall streets mindshare now. don't forget that msft was growing into a monopoly during the last decade. not a bad place to be and pretty easy for analysts to recommend. can that happen again, i don't know and only time will tell. so yes, msft "the stock" is dead money until data comes out saying they are going to rule the world.

most people on this thread think that msft's shit does not stink. what makes you think that they are going to be successful with the x-box. its like me creating another car to compete with the world automakers. something about it better be much better and different because these guys know every aspect of car business better than me. so, i think that msft "the company" will have a difficult time competing with sony and aol. they will get market share and be a player. whether these products will dominate is hard to tell at this time. i just think it is very risky going into markets outside of your bread and butter.
rocky.
